Senator Marsha Blackburn recently traveled to the southern border and praised the Texans for their accomplishments in securing their border. During her interview on Breitbart News Daily, she opened up on President Biden’s border policies. Blackburn criticized the Biden administration for paroling roughly two million migrants into the United States of America and letting them destroy American society.
During the interview, Sen. Marsha Blackburn said:
“I’ve got legislation that would give local governments and state governments the ability to secure their border when the federal government does not. And so Texas DPS [Department of Public Safety] and Brandon Judd from the…Border Patrol union invited me to come back down,” she said, explaining that the measures they have taken have reduced illegal immigration in Eagle Pass just by putting barriers up. It has gone from several thousand a week to “about 12 people a day.”
Sen. Marsha Blackburn criticized the Biden administration’s approach toward the border crisis. Blackburn emphasized the difference in approach between the Biden admin and the Trump admin. While former President Donald Trump would always try to strengthen the state’s forces to counter the border situation and stop illegal migration, the Biden admin is doing the exact opposite. Biden admin is creating new opportunities for illegal migrants to cross into the U.S., So much so that several U.S. states have taken this on their own to fight against illegal border crossings.
“This is the difference between these administrations. That is actually the parole program, and if you go back to 1983 and look at the different presidents and how many people they have granted parole each year.”
“Now, what he does, Mike, when he gives them parole status, is they get benefits, and they get a work visa, and that’s why you have these illegal aliens that are now delivering for Uber and DoorDash and people of that nature. It is unsafe for people,” she said, noting that these individuals are “using fake names.” It is dangerous, she added, for companies to hire these individuals.
“I actually have a letter in a process that other senators are signing on to send questions to these delivery companies about using these illegal aliens — many of them criminal illegal aliens — and using them for employment in the U.S. and thereby endangering the public,” Blackburn concluded.
And if we look at the other side, even Democrats are now trying to distance themselves from President Biden’s border policies after seeing their disastrous consequences. In a new Ad, Democrat Jon Tester is seen claiming to work against Biden on border policies.
The ad begins by saying, “When Montanans see a problem, we get to work. And he fought to stop President Biden from letting migrants stay in America instead of remain in Mexico. Jon Tester knows defending Montana starts with securing the border.”
Though Democrat Jon’s claim is not true at all, as he voted twice against providing support and funds to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, this desperate attempt to distance himself from President Biden shows that even Democrats now see the disastrous consequences and effects that Biden’s border policies have on American society.
